A bit slow this past week. So really only one article of note caught my attention.
Samantha Walker’s suicide at the age of 18 has impacted both Atlanta Georgia where she was taken against her will and became one of many teens involved in the sex trade there and her hometown of Toledo Ohio where she first got involved in the sex trade at 15 and returned with no other place to go and not enough support. This article talks about some of the new efforts in Georgia especially since her death.
And here’s a picture of an amazing mural, Voices Her’d: I Deal, I Dream, I Do, painted by young women in Brooklyn to reflect on.
