Here are a few news links for the week.

Indiana is looking into homeless and runaway youth, especially rural youth are struggling even more. In Sacramento, CA though a local homeless youth center just got a wonderful new home. Take a look>>

A teen runaway is credited with bringing a woman running a escort service and recruiting 16 and 17 year old teens to the attention of the police who charged her in court last week.

The CDC reported a sharp spike in suicide rates in girls 10-14 and an overall rise for youth as a whole. Researchers are not sure if this is the start of a pattern or temporary.

In Connecticut teens in foster care are participating in a digital storytelling project to talk about their lives and help other youth in similar situations. Here are some of the youth who participated with their DVDs.
