In the news this week: a trial wrapped up in Michigan on a 16 year old’s murder while working for an escort service and a trial barely started when a man plead guilty to multiple charges from pimping several people, including two minors. In Texas, a woman was arrested for going door to door trying to pimp out a 14 year old runaway.

Homeless Youth Alliance

In San Francisco, the debate is heating up over needle exchanges and the need to collect used syringes in safe containers. The Homeless Youth Alliance has been helping youth be safer for over 10 years in their needle exchange. Now they’re asking the city to make sharps containers for used needles more available in the city to prevent people from discarding them wherever.
